Every Forgotten Village

The world seems to be full of forgotten villages: Cities and towns that were once thriving.

Perhaps a village is forgotten when industry moves on, motivated by:

  • Cheaper skilled labor found elsewhere
  • Cheaper resources found elsewhere
  • Resources no longer needed
  • Skilled labor no longer needed
  • Unfavorable political power shifts
  • Unacceptable changes to local laws
  • Global issues, such as:
    • wars
    • disasters
    • pandemics
    • financial system disasters

Reinvent your Community

In our view, every community has immeasurable innovative wealth in its citizens. Every citizen matters. Every citizen has something to contribute. No one is irrelevant. Everyone has their good days and their bad days.

Start Small

Invent something small. Or improve on something small. Share your ideas with others. Build a prototype. Make improvements. If your idea has global relevance, offer it up to the rest of the world.

Do not Stop

Keep inventing. Or keep improving. Share your ideas with others. Teach with your successes. Teach with your mistakes. Find untapped potential in others and in yourself. If the ideas of yesterday are no longer relevant today, come up with some new ideas. Always innovating. Always improving.

Industrial Independence

So much of our technology is provided by global industrial giants. They rely on mass manufacturing, cheap labor, questionable financial machinations, and lack of environmental restrictions to provide us with consumer products. We can declare independence from global industries and provide better components, practices, and ideas. Small changes with global impact. Changing ourselves from consumers to providers.

Every forgotten village can rise up and provide unique contributions. While preserving their own local culture and sovereignty.
